We will be a party of 5 and want to go to Warwick Long Bay and then walk back towards HSB. Will the "cabs" be just for our family or are they more vans that you fill up wth people? Just want to be sure we don't get dropped at HSB.

Does anyone know the amount per person by cab and do they take American $?

Thank you!

The fare for a taxi for 5 passengers from the Dockyard to Warwick Long Bay Beach would be about $45 plus tip for weekday and Saturday travel. There is a 50% surcharge for Sunday travel.

Unless you invite 2 friends to travel with you, the only people in the taxi will be your family. The only way you would be dropped at HSB is if you asked the driver to drop you there.

The US dollar is accepted everywhere in Bermuda, and the Bermudian dollar is on par with the US dollar.

Yes, you can get a taxi. A taxi from Dockyard to Warwick Long Bay for 5 - 7 passengers will cost about $45 plus tip Mon. - Sat . On Sunday the fare is 50% higher. Taxi fares are per vehicle, not per person, with taxis that hold 5 - 7 passengers costing more than taxis that hold 1 - 4 passengers.

US currency is accepted everywhere in Bermuda.

Thank you! And is there only one place to be dropped at Warwick or do I need to ask for a particular spot? Do we go down to the parking lot or dropped off before the lot? Our plan is to enjoy each section of beach as we walk back to Horseshoe.

Thank you!

There are two entrances. The main entrance is at the west end of Warwick, Warwick stretches to the left (east) of that main entrance when facing the ocean and the walk to Horseshoe would be towards the right (west) when facing the ocean from that entrance. The other entrance is at the east end of Warwick, there is a parking area, and a path to Warwick.

Ask the driver to drop you at the parking area at the end of the access road to WLBB which at the west end of the beach. To get to Horseshoe Bay, you would walk (west) with the water on your left hand.

I know you want to enjoy eacb section of the beach but this is easier for the taxi driver to understand.

Is snorkeling good at this beach?

It is not known for good snorkeling. Beaches known for good snorkeling off the beach are Church Bay on the south shore and Tobacco Bay on St. George's. Church Bay can have a very rough surf. Tobacco Bay is protected from the surf.
