Oasis photo review

I don't know about you but when I look at reviews I tend to skip the review and fast forward to all of the pics, so here is my review. We went on the Oasis June 22, I got the flu on the last sea day and was miserable for the last few days so sorry for the delay! My wife and daughter and I live in Delaware and I don't like to fly so we drove to Fort Lauderdale with a stop in Savannah GA

Aargh. Sick during a cruise. I feel for you. And here I am trying to stay healthy before a cruise so that I am not miserable during it.

Greetings from Wilmingtion DE! I'm looking forward to more! That's quite a drive, isn't it? My husband and I did it in March for our Oasis trip as well...funny how the excitement carried me through the drive to FL, but man,that drive home was brutal! We walked off the ship at 6:15 and in through our front door around midnight I think.

OK, so I left off in at South of the Boarder, We rented a 300c to go on our trip very comfortable car. We were meeting my sister and her family in Savannah for the night.

This is from the Hyatt, Savannah is a nice little town, we are at Paula Deen's that evening.

The previous pic is from our hotel in Savannah the Hyatt, we walked aroung town and ate dinner at Lady And Sons (Paula Deen's) restaurant.

So you can drink outside, and the bars have decent prices, we walked around a bit before dinner. Paula Deen's is just an OK restaurant, the greens are probably the best thing on the menu.

Off to a BBQ i'll try to do more later today!

So the next morning we left Savannah and headed to Ft. Lauderdale.

I was born in Melbourne, so I was exited to see the sign, then it rained so bad I could barely see the road!

We stayed at The Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel, we didn't get to many pics of the hotel, but I will definitely stay here again. you can see the port from most rooms and it is near just about anything. We went to Rocco's Tacos for dinner, great place. Starbucks and a bagel place is about a block away, along with other shops and some more restaurant.

DD and I found this the next morning!

My wife got the pb and j bagel and I cant remember what mine was but it was good.

Off to the port, this trip started a year ago after our Disney trip, I have obsessed about the trip, now it is within sight!

I will work on more pics tomorrow, they start when we get on the ship!

OK, so let me start off by saying that Port Everglades really have their stuff together. They were some of the nicest helpful people! These pics are of when we got on board!

My wife tried some new setting on our camera that's why the last pic looks diffrent.

So we are at Giovanni's for lunch at 12, I really liked this, the restaurant was not busy and the staff was really great!

I will try to finish some more pics tonight or tomorrow!

But I hate driving long distances moreso.
