Blackjack on RCI rules

I'll be on the Jewel next week and was hoping someone could tell me the playing conditions - like number of decks, BJ payoff, splitting , etc. . Also wanted to know if playing $25.00 minimum for a few hours a day will really reap you any benefits on that cruise or not.

Seems like from what I've read on here that setting up an account to draw from isn't worth it. I sailed on NCL last year and they pretty much handled it like Vegas does with a line of credit. It's almost impossible to glean any of the casino information on RCI's web site, it's like they keep it a secret!

Thanks,

Pat

I was on the explorer in dec and from what I remember they had 6 or 8 decks, 3:2 blackjack, split up to 4 times (except aces, only once with them), double after split. Couldnt tell you about setting up an account.

They did have a single deck game where the rules were different, I played about 30 hands there so the only thing I remember is the bj payout is 6:5
