AA Guaranteed on Coral

Everyone,

I have narrowed down my cabin choice for the Panama Canal next March to one of the AA's (all are on Baja). If I choose guaranteed, I am hoping that I will be upgraded to a full suite (PS or VS). Is this even remotely likely?

Also, is there a downside? There are only 18 or AA's on the ship. Is there a chance they will run out of them and the PS/VS suites and downgrade me instead?

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I decided on the AA'a because of the privacy of the balcony (a lot of the balconies on the Coral can be looked down onto from above).

I definitely don't think they'd downgrade you so I wouldn't stress over that. And I don't thin there are any AAs on the Dolphin deck and that's where you're going to find the most uncovered balconies.

I was in an AB and was upgraded to a PS on my upcoming Coral cruise so it can definitely happen

Good. I was thinking a downgrade would be very unlikely. Princess would have to do some serious sweet-talking to smooth that one over.

I'm hoping there will be an open PS come cruise date, but any of the AA's would be great. I wonder what are the chances of a Mar 18 cruise having some PS or VS cabins open? Kind of near spring break time. Any experiences?

Thanks Again.

"worst" case scenario if they did downgrade you, it would just be to another minisuite more than likely (cabins are pretty much identical..the only real difference is in the balconies and the location) but I'm guessing they would make it up to you with some onboard credit

Not sure what the chacnes are in March, but to be honest, odd things come up all the time. You never know what might happen!
