best way to get around ocho rios

We may go somewhere on our own off the ship. best/safest way to get around to a facility maybe 10 minutes away?

There will be plenty of Taxis there. Be sure to take a JUTA taxi, this is the official taxi service. If you want to go to a couple of stops, negotiate a price for a driver for a few hours, or the day, depending on what you want.

No real bus service to go to the touristy spots, just taxis and tours.

You can also walk into town (very short walk) to the shopping area/market, a public beach, etc.
