Which excursions were a ripoff and which ones were good?

Here, gone Western 3 straight years and have gone to all of these islands

Labadee, get of the boat early, look the right side and walk to the tram, get off on the second beach on your right and find a young man that will gratiously find two beach chairs for you and a nice shady spot under trees to just lie around and adventure out into the water, bring you water shoes to avoid stepping on a sea urchin. Rent a mat $10, lay around just plain being lazy. If getting a little spunk, go over to right next to the dock and rent a jetski for an hour and play "very fast" follow the leader, having a great time doing S turns all over the water and waves. At the end you are treated to some locals sells stuff that coast 50 cents, but you kinding give them $5 to help this economy (tax break as well), Lastly on labadee, you want to go do the longest zipline in the Caribbean, so you sign up for that and in 1 hours of time, you have done TWO ziplines, the bunny one and then the big one that goes over the top of the trees, the coaster and then the clear blue water and waves. YEAH.

Falmouth, easy, stay inside the walls, there are very scary things if you venture out of walls and may never come back. The port there has very nice shots for all the different jewelry makers, clothes, Cuban cigars, Margarittaville and every types of cheap stuff. My suggestion go find the things on the ship that haven't done, flowrider, ice skating, reading, playing hooky with your significant other  Just remember stay inside the walls!!!

Grand Caymen - will be the best stop of the cruise, very nice, had the 7 mile strip of beach that you can find jet skis, music, water toys, parasailing, fun, hotels to get clean shows, etc. The one excursion that you have to go on is the stingraysailings.com boat ride with Chip that goes out to stingray island and nice snorkeling spot. Well worth the trip. Last thing, come back into town with 2 hours to spare and go shopping, can find nice clothes, watches, neckaces, Christmas ornaments, etc. A good restaurant is right next to the port to the right side that sells fresh fish,

Cozumel = Can basically do anything there, deep sea fishing, parasailing, speedboats, snorkeling. Best place I think is to go to Mr. Sanchos which is a 15 minute ride from the dock. There is no entrance fee to get in and you can buy beer food, at reasonable prices, but if you are going to be there for say 4 hours, get the all inclusive $45 or so and it is all you can drink, liquor, beer, shots and WONDERFUL food. They also have nicer chairs to sit in with nice umbrellas, go to the back where they have a sit in pool with a BAR for just more free drinks if you pay the all inclusive price. After you leave and go back into town the taxis will try to bring you to the main part of Cozumel, but it is cheap crap that is just more expensive then the 100 shops in the port walls. Make sure to pick up vanilla if you cook, very cheap and excellent quality. Lastly before you get on the boat, stop at Senior Frogs and have 1 or 100 drinks, there are "sights" there that both women and men like to see!!!!

Hope this helps.

Canopy done well

Chuka done very well

Rose hall nice but not as great as other two

Dunns river falls, gotta try it ---done once thats enough

Dislikes

Did a double excursion

Zip line and tubing, wasted to much time and did not like the calm waters.

Cozumel

Likes

Chakanaub swim with dolphins

Very expensive and they dont let you take your cameras anymore, prices for pictures are the highest at any tourist trap.

We did this excursion twice and are now doing an all inclusive.

A couple times we just shopped and went back to enjoy the ship.

Dislikes

Every time we have been there, the afternoon monsoon that hits about 2pm. WOW can it rain:eek:

If anyone is going to the Princess Cays I would highly suggest the dune buggy rides. The are fun for either casual riders or riders that want to get a little crazy. The tour guide also stops you at different locations to tell you about the island. You stop at a beach that is one of the prettiest that any of us had ever seen. You have the opportunity to spend 20 minutes there are take a small hike with the tour guide. On the hike you will see where the Atlantic and the Caribbean meet. Unbelievable photo opportunities!

Thank you, I have just booked this and was searching for someone who had taken this. Been to PC 3 times and wanted something different. Not into crazy driving but hopefully will be ok.
