Sainsburys

Recommended Posts

I am staying near Victoria Station, and wanted to go into a Sainsburys, but the one in the Station is a Sainsbury Local. Is this like a convenience store (7-11) in the states, with higher prices and a limited selection?

Yes, it's a neighbourhood shop. Tesco Express is the same thing.

Much more limited selection of brands & speciality products than their main supermarkets, but perfectly acceptable for everyday needs.

Not too sure about prices.

I think their nearest superstore is in Wilton Road, a ten minute walk
