1/7/12 Fascination Photo Review

Just back from Fascination, while I wont do a full review, decided to post a few pictures. We called on Nassau and HMC. Im in the process of training for three marathons over the next 40 days, so much of my ship time and port time was spent running

Due to fog in Jacksonville we didnt depart until 8pm. Also, the theme of the cruise was Football, we had 2 playoff games on Saturday and Sunday plus the BCS Championship on Monday. They showed the games at multipe locations throughout the ship.

I was sailing solo and booked about 2 weeks before saliling and was assigned E49

First stop was Nassau

I ran over to Atlantis then ran over to Junkaroo Beach and the Fish Fry Area, both are really at each end of Bay St. Its approx 2 miles to Atlantis, which offers a nice view from the Bridge

Had to get this shot of the Bahamas marathon this weekend, would love to run it one day.

Thanks! Love Fascination and Half Moon Cay!

Wow, you really did "run" to Atlantis!

Always intend to do the nature walk at HMC but I just can't resist that soft white sand and beautiful blue water!

The nature walk is pretty basic, I did see 4 people doing the actual tour, maybe the tour guide was filled with great information :) We had absolutely perfect weather. which made HMC even better than usual

Nice pics! You must have seen alot of the islands with the running you did while there. What a great way to experience new places!

I like your food porn better than most of what I see around here :)

Yes, I did get a chance to see quite a bit of the ports, its fun to run along the beach.

The Platinum gift was the small cooler. The VIP line at embarkation went fairly quickly. I was onboard within 10 mins of walking off the park n ride bus.

Since the ship the prior cruise didnt dock until 10:30, it gave the stewards time to clean the rooms, so we could go right to our cabins.

Im trying to upload my ship tour vidoes, but the internet connection at the hotel is dreadfully slow.
