No need to cancel & rebook or call. If you have the email confirmation of your rental at the top there is a link that says "change reservation". Just go into that and scroll down to the rental price and click change. Re-enter your BCD code and the new rate should pop up. Then click accept change. You will then be sent another email confirmation with the new rate.

The rates were great, but the addition of two car-seats bumped it up a bit. Still cheaper than the shuttle, and we get the freedom to stop at as many Targets as we want to along the way!

I just went back to my reservation on the budget site and you can modify or change it there. No penalties.. You could also do it over the phone if you want.
