Boarding the Glory in Norfolk

Norfolk boarding can be all over the place. Last year my family did this particular cruise. We got to the terminal about 9:30 am and were one of the first in line, on the upper level of the terminal walkway. They started letting people in for check in at about 11. We went through security and waited and waited and waited. At about 12:30 we found out that the printers were not working to do the sail and sign cards. By 1 pm we were boarding and on the ship.

The year before that, we came off the ship on that first cruise (arriving empty from New York) and due to some kind of a customs inspection, people trying to board waited for hours in line outside the terminal. I heard later some people did not get onboard till 6 pm, and they were late leaving.
