We just returned from a SA cruise with 4 days in BA. I booked private tours through Virginia Panetta at http://www.privatebatours.com and they were great! She worked with me to set up 2-half day tours on 2 mornings and this worked out really well. She suggested the places to see and we were not disappointed....we saw all the main sights and our guides were very knowledgeable. There were 6 of us and the Van had air conditioning and we were very comfortable. I would recommend using this company if you are visiting BA. You won't be disappointed!

We were in BA for four days last January and did a lot on our own. However, we found some great FREE walking tours.

Also, we did a wonderful empanada making class that included a fantastic meal.

Also, a fantastic Tango show

The METRO is cheap and easy to use, as well as taxis.

I'm very happy to read this. Virginia was our guide a little over a year ago for a day and a half of private touring in BA; we loved her and have recommended her to others.
