Tween/Teen areas?

Looking for a recommendation for a line where a 12yo and 15yo can hang out together. From what I've seen the kids areas mainly split around 12-14 and 15-17, but I've seen some conflicting information. What line will be my best best? We're likely looking at a shorter cruise which means smaller ship with less deck activities (and they're not fans of the pool).

What do the kids like to do? Mine are almost 6 years apart and now that they are 13 and 19 are growing more likely to spend time together. The enjoy some of the Carnival mid size ships like Sunshine and Magic that have sports square - but they tend to be 7 day cruises. But even if that isn't there they play putt putt, basketball, ping pong and just relax playing video games or watching a movie or two in their room. At night they like the comedy shows and some of the show lounge shows and the movies on deck.

As long as they are easy going and don't have a need to be entertained 24/7 I would think any Carnival ship would do.
