Can anyone share their experience with flying into Tahiti using Tahiti Air?

Have read horror stories on other sites about this airline.

Planning on the 7 day Tahiti cruise, and would like to know good or bad using this Airline.

Thanks

I would not recommend them unless you are in business/first class. We flew on Air Tahiti Nui last year and it was the most uncomfortable plane I have ever been on. The seats are very close together and are small. I am 5 feet tall and weigh less than 100 lbs. and I was uncomfortable. I can't imagine being a tall person and flying with them.

Other people have posted that they did not mind it. It may depend on the specific plane you are on. Ours was one of the older ones.

Sorry did not know there were 2 separate airlines. We are looking to use the airline that Windstar uses in their hotel, air, and cruise package.

We will be flying out and back to LAX.

You are really limited in choices for this flight. You can take Air Tahiti Nui, Air France or Hawaiian Air, which flies there only one day a week.

You may want to price out your cruise with and without this package.
