Cozumel Pier

Are there golf carts that provide rides from the ship to the terminal? My aunt can't walk long distances and this would be helpful to get her to the terminal

You don't say which ship or cruise lines you are on. There are 3 different cruise piers.

The downtown pier, Punta Langosta, is relatively short. This is where NCL and Disney will typically dock. The Puerta Maya pier is long and there are bicyle ricksaws that can take your aunt to the shopping area or taxi stand. This si where Carnival, Princess, Hal ships will typically dock. With the renovations at the International pier, I don't know what is available there. The International pier is where RCL and Celebrity and other lines typically dock.

Taxis are at the head of every pier. International pier is the middle cruise pier.

You will be able to get mobility help for your aunt. You can speak with guest services on the ship and if that is not satisfactory there are folks right at the gangway that will be able to secure some assistance for you. They want to get you into Cozumel so you can spend some money :D
