Hi all, we are on HAL 4/17 Statendam that stops in Nagasaki on 4/17. Need help in finding a private tour guide or service. The ships tours look ugly and start too early for us.(we exercise each morn so cannot catch an early tour) And the ship does not leave until late so a good private tour would be fine.

Can anyone help- thx

We were on the Diamond princess last October & stopped in Nagaski. This city is easy to do on your own. When we docked, (the port is right in town), the local tourist authority had maps & info on the the local tram,

which takesyou to the peace park & memorial. From memory it was $5 USD pp & you could take it at any time. We spent 3 hours or so there & then caught to tram back to down town to the shopping area of Nagasaki. By going at your own time, you would also miss the early morning crowds. We actually walked to the previous stop(only took 5 mins) for the tram & got on before all the rest of the cruisers.
