Pre cruise hotel New Orleans

I'll be sailing on the Dream in August. My family and I will fly down a few days before the cruise and I'm looking for a hotel close to the port. Thanks for all suggestions.

Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, and the Hilton at the Riverwalk are all very close to the port

We're staying at the Hilton Riverside and walking to the port.

Our last cruise out of NOLA we stayed at Hilton Riverside and also have it booked for our October cruise.

We liked that it was close to the street cars so we could go out and see the city.

Hilton Riverside is the perfect hotel in New Orleans. It is close to everything.

We're staying at the Hilton Riverside and walking to the port.

While we are still staying at the Hilton, we will probably not be walking to the port. We realized that since our Cruise departs on Easter, the mall will be closed. However should you be leaving on a day other than a holiday, you would probably be able to do this.

The mall will probably be open on Easter. The shops may not be open but the mall will be open.
