Best all inclusive day pass resort? (2016+) - Older threads have outdated resorts

Hi all,

Looking to do an all inclusive day pass. Was searching threads and some resorts are renamed, brand new, refurbished etc. I was hoping to start a thread with updated information. Look forward to your replies, thank you.

The only all inclusive options are Renaissance and Barcelo, which used to be Occidental.

I have not used them before but try resortforaday dot com. Aruba is one of the destinations listed.

The RIU Palace offers day passes. There are two..one for adults only.

which one would you guys overall recommend??

We chose Barcelo and I can let you know after our cruise in Sept.

I booked Barceló with Caribbean day pass dot com; which only requires a $15 deposit. RUI only sells day passes. Our ship is in port from1pm - 10pm.

Two years ago we stayed at the Barcelo (was Occidental Grand) and really enjoyed it. The location was beautiful and the food was great. We are going back in March.

We are currently have a day pass booked for Barcelo, but are considering switching to Riu Palace because I saw in another thread that the Barcelo had reduced its services on the beach.

Had anyone used the day pass at the adults only Riu Palace and what did you think?

Shore Excursioneer dot com is only $85 for the entire day and the deposit is only $8. We have used them several times with absolutely no issues. They usually beat Caribbean day pass and Resort for a day.

What did you think of Barcelo? It's on my short list for one of my cruises.

We were there in Nov and had a great time. Just booked it again for this Sept.
