Been cruising for 26 years most on RCCL and cannot believe the lack of everything . And yes the smoking in casino took over 4th floor and parts of the 5th

Can you elaborate please? :) We just did a b2b on Liberty and had the best cruising experience ever.

Are you assuming they are not interested in Celebrity or Azamara? Don't forget Viking Oceans.

I suggest giving Celebrity a try. They will recognize your RCI loyalty status and their casinos are completely smoke free. Give them a try. I was really impressed, especially with the Solstice Class ships.

I agree with Paul. The Solstice class ships are very nice.

I´m assuming nothing. I´m not saying the list is complete, there´s many more out there. As for Celebrity and Azamara, I left out any under the Roof of RCCL, as I didn´t want them to steer to anything withing the RCCL Family. This was not based on assumption, but on personal opinion to rather steer them elsewhere.

We cruised for many years on Royal and loved it, but as we got older, Royal became more of a family cruise line and we wanted something different. We tried Celebrity and loved it. We thought the food, service and crew were better than Royal or Princess. But no cruise line is perfect, and you will find just as many complaints on Celebrity's boards as you do Royal on this one. So good luck wherever you sail.

So, you starved for the entire week? I can understand if there was something that you did not like, but to lump all of the food as being terrible is a major stretch.

We were on the LOS July 11-16 and after sailing twice on the Allure I will not sail a Freedom Class ship despite being in a GS. YES I enjoyed the suite experience on this ship and on the Allure. My reason is for an entirely different reason. There were not enough specialty/alternative dining venues. We had the MDR food once and it was really good! Loved Chops and Portofino.. Went to each twice, but I missed the additional salad options found in Park cafe and the Solarium. Cancelled our Vintages wine pairing experience because we could not handle all that wine for 2 nights. I missed the Chefs Table experience too. Bermuda was beautiful and the ship was well maintained, but I missed the Oasis class which I feared would happen.

Why come on a Royal forum and ask that question especially when you don't give specifics?

Exactly. :o

Carnival, Princess, HAL, Costa, MSC, NCL, Aida, Cunard, P&O, Seabourn, Windstar, Crystal, Star Cruises, Silverseas, Regent, Disney, Oceania, Saga.... Hope this helps as a start.

Paul, you crack me up. :D:D:D

OP, sorry you did not enjoy but you sound like a grown up who can decide this on your own. Each of these boards is filled with those who love each line, those who hate each line, and those who are indifferent. The decision and the choice is yours as this is VERY subjective, right? Spread the love around and try a new line. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Sauvichick, After sailing on both the Oasis and the Allure ( with you last summer), I am a little bit concerned about my April 2016 cruise on the IOS. I absolutely love Central Park day and night, Park Café and the Solarium Café, so am having to mentally prepare myself for not having these. That said, I am beyond excited about our Nov 2016 cruise on Harmony of the Sea's. Thank goodness educators get a week-off at Thanks Giving.

I always take the approach to ignore reviews that are at the extreme opposite ends of the spectrum. Everything 100% terrible or 100% perfect, neither one is helpful or accurate.

Especially when there is no elaboration.
