What to do in La Paz and Loreto in February?

Our cruise will stop in both ports.

Don't want to snorkel or swim.

When will you be there? Feb 10 is Ash Wednesday. The Malecon in La Paz will be tearing down stuff from the festivities.

La Paz has a shuttle that takes you into town. We've taken the city tour to the glass, ceramics and weaver shops. The church is a few blocks above the bus station if you do not do a tour. Across the plaza from the church is a museum. To the south is a good ice cream shop. Just know that La Paz is all uphill from the Malecon.

In Loreto we walk around. The city is relatively flat. The town has an interesting layout. Long promenade to the plaza.
