Is anyone else going on this cruise? I haven't seen much about it. I am pretty new to cruise critic so is there someplace else I should be looking for fellow travelers? I am beginning to pack and looking forward to a fabulous trip.:)

Hi ~ You're right--I haven't seen much about it either. My husband and I will be on the Magica for this cruise, and we're also starting to pack. Our airline tickets just arrived from the travel agency today (I was starting to get a little nervous--don't like last minute stuff!) We leave on the 27th and will have a few days in Italy before boarding in Savona on the 2nd.

I hope more of our fellow passengers reply to your post. I'll keep checking to see. I think it's going to be a terrific trip!

Hey there,

Nice to hear someone else is going :) Where are you from? I live in North Dakota, USA and am going with my mom who is from Chicago, USA. We have an aft room/balcony so we can see where we have been:D I just know that this will be a wonderful cruise. Hope to see more people on the roll call.

Hi, Ohyou! We live in South Carolina. We've got a room with a veranda, too, but we're kind of more towards the middle of the ship rather than aft. I think I need to brush up on my nautical terms. From what I've been reading about the Magica it seems to be kind of confusing at first to figure out how to get from one place to another. It might help if I could remember aft/stern/starboard/port and whatever else there is.

Do you have all of your cruise documents now? Do you have anything that tells you how many formal nights we'll have? Just curious--don't want to overpack dressy stuff that I might not even wear.

Well, so far it seems to be just the four of us on this cruise. Think I'll ask for an upgrade to the big suite. LOL!:D

Hi there,

When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed in Myrtle Beach. Yes, we have all our documents. One less thing to worry about. As far as formal nights go, we were originally told there would be around 6 but our tour agent just told us there would be only two with the possibility of a third. Our tour agency limits us to one suitcase so I understand the need to not overpack. Are you an experienced cruiser? This is my first time. My mom has gone on a few but not me. What a way to start:) I am so looking forward to sitting on the veranda, sipping something tasty and just watching the world go by. Luxury at its finest. It will be nice having the ship to ourselves:D Hope to see you there.
