wow what a great picture,, nice to see the sprial on the new trade building ,, was in NYC in April and it was not on then.

I'll be doing that this Wednesday, cruising down the Hudson. I can't wait to see Manhattan from the ship. The only time I was ever on a boat in the harbor was a class trip to the Statue of Liberty waaaaay back in 1968!!!

If the pic was from this morning the Glory is in port today. That pic was taken from the Jersey side. Thanks for posting it.

Really nice. Looks like it was processed into an HDR, which gives it that fake look, but I like it. Would be nice to see the original without all the distortion.

Venice was No. 1 - but New York City was ranked No. 2!

I can vouch for NYC being purty darned awesome:

we sailed Glory to Canada mid-October 2011 and I got some nice sailaway pics.

Despite being an early riser(usually!) I never got up, the morning we were returning

so I never got returning-to-NYC shots.

Must try harder this time. 25 days to go!
