San Francisco Guide Book for cruisers

I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a San Francisco guide book. I'll be there for 2 days this September as part of a Pacific Coastal cruise. I know I can search the internet for information about San Francisco, but I also like to have a guide book with me. TIA

And I'll be there for 3 days next February. Love to have a 'real' book to refer to.

It is old, but I think Access San Francisco is the best ever written.

Other than that it depends on your temperament. The people who love Fodor's are different than those who like Lonely Planet.

We'll be in SF in October for 2 days pre cruise. I bought Eyewitness Travel's Top 10 San Francisceo. Very informative read with a pull out map that will help give a visual to Google Maps that we'll use to get around. $14 at local B&N.

I've used the Eyewitness Top 10 in Barcelona, and it was great. The SF version is on my list for my 2018 cruise.
