Marmaris Turkey - Does anyone know?

Recommended Posts

An hour and a half. Quite a long transfer compared to other home ports.

Time flies by though - it doesn't feel that long by the time you've had a doze on the bus! Our flight left the UK at 7am & we were onboard by 3pm Turkish time (1pm UK) this year - everything was very slick & well handled :)

In yesterday's Daily Mirror, on travel late deals, "Marmaris, Turkey - 7 night Aegean and Holy Land Cruise, on Thomson Celebration, from £618 pp, (saves £820 per couple) based on 2 sharing on f/b and flying on Sept 30th, from Bournemouth, Bristol or Garwick. Ship calls at Rhodes; Ashdod, Israel; Larnaca, Cyprus; and Alanya, Turkey."

Also it's quite an attractive journey including travelling through the mountains so as Jules says it really doesn't seem to be as long as it is. We quite enjoyed seeing something of the contryside.

I agree this part of Turkey is very scenic indeed.
