Voyager Grand Suite

Recommended Posts

We have friends that may be cruising with us on the Voyager transatlantic crossing in November and they are interested in booking the Master Suite with the extra bedroom. We are thinking about staying in the suite with them. Has anyone ever stayed in this suite or have used this suite with another couple?

We stayed in master suite #700 three years ago. My grown daughter was with us and stayed in the second bedroom. It is much much smaller than the master bedroom and was only being booked for one person then. Our son and daughter in law would have been very uncomfortable in that bedroom. The suite is fantastic, large and beautiful with 21/2 baths. Part of the terrace is shaded and the view is not wonderful, it's somewhat obstructed.

Our friends are looking at suite 1100. According to the cruise atlas the suite is 1,403 sq ft and the side stateroom appears larger than SR 700 yet they are both the same price. We just want to be sure that we will be comfortable.

Found this on the Web. Thread is a little confusing since it is called "Voyager Grand Suite," which is a different category.

A friend and I have MS1101 on the Nov 4, 2006 Rome to Ft Lauderdale voyage. I agree that the MS on deck 11 has a better configuration than the ones on deck 7.... However, the MS on deck 7 has more privacy considering there is less foot traffic in that part of the ship's hall.

Looking forward to the cruise.

We booked 700 for a Baltic cruise - chose it partly because the second bedroom was small - it was wasted space for us, and partly because of the forward facing windows in the bedrooms. If we were sharing the Master suite with another couple, we definitely take one on deck 11.

Ronsex, I guess we will be neighbors. We decided to go ahead and put money on the booking for November 4th and will be canceling our Crystal crossing from LIS-MIA. We just could not turn down this fabulous itinerary.

Looking forward to meeting you and others.
