My husband and I plan to visit the daughter in Anchorage and do Denali and other land trips from that base, then cruise down to Vancouver. Trying to decide between Princess and Royal C, both 7 dayers. Wondering if they hit same areas. Prices seem close. We like to hike and hope the day stops allow for a little of that.

Go to each company's web site and check the itineraries for the cruises you are considering. That will tell you where they stop and for about how long.

I think Princess goes to Glacier Bay on most sailing. I sould definitely advise going there. It is spectacular.

Ask your daughter to see if a Travel Agent in Anchorage can get you a good deal. It never hurts to ask.
Have a great visit! |

Definitely Glacier Bay, if it's a choice for either or both.
