Funcha, Madeira HOHO Buses

We are visiting Madeira as a cruise port of call at the end of February. We are thinking of using the HOHO buses. I understand that there is the usual red HOHO but that there is also a yellow HOHO Company which also runs a blue route to Camara de Lobos. The yellow (and blue)routes sound more interesting but reviews suggest the buses may not be as frequent. Has anyone used these buses in February and if so are they less frequent than in the summer.Also is it worth catching a blue route bus (which I understand to be even less frequent than the yellow route) To Camara de Lobos which is an attractive fishing village (but possibly not at this time of year??)
