Hi all,
We had hoped to cruise on Rhapsody in February but DH just had hols knocked back so rethinking our next cruises. Rhapsody is repositioning on 18th September, Hawaii to Sydney, arrives about 5th October, but I can't find another cruise on her until sometime towards the end of the month, I think the 28th. Anyone know what is happening in October on Rhapsody? thanks, Kirrarne |

Good one . Thanks for that...
![]() Just ask on Cruise Critic and look what pops up. I have friends who are right into Country Music so I will pass that on as they may not be aware of it yet.

Darn, CC uncovers all the secrets
![]() Yes Rhaposody has become a haven for music enthusiasts around Oct-Nov each year now. These are co-charters operated by the events organisers and RC. From the cruise side of things, they are just like regular cruises with pretty much all the same things, just that the event operators arrange pretty much all of the entertainment, including the nightly shows. The cruises typically go for up to 7 nights and go to places like New Caledonia, or just out into the ocean and back to Syndey. They are significantly more expensive than a regular cruise, but you are getting top line artists day & night and unrivalled access to them during the cruise. Imagine just bumping into and sitting down and having a drink by the pool with a favourite entertainer. We have been on Cruisin' Country 1 (2011) & 2 (2012) and had fantastic times. There are rock&roll cruises & 70's cruises etc - they are booked thru designated TA's. Neil |
