We are in the same situation, so we've booked a Sunset Catamaran sail (with snacks and beverages included). We will have an hour to walk around town, go and sail for 3-4 hrs, then come back to see the town at night and have a few cocktails. Booked it through shoretrips dot com.

I did look into the Sunset Catamaran Sail (independently) but was sure of where the pick-up spot was located. It looks like the excursion offered by Carnival is sold out.

Our pick-up instructions came when we booked. They pick up is right near where the ship docks and sounds easy to find. Not worried on that front. Our package does include the round trip transport from the ship, where some others do not.

How was the sunset curs ion booked through shore trips? Looking to book something for October?

Was just there last week 1:30-10. Keep in mind that most of the stores in town close around 6. We booked thru Rud Tours and for $20 round trip a person, we got a 2 hour tour of the town which was entertaining and then they dropped us off at Mambo Beach for 2 hours and then picked us up and brought us back to port. So we saw the town and the beach and can't be the price. We just couldn't shop in town. We just happen to find the tour after we walked off the ship and was looking around.

We had a great time. They pick you up just outside the port gate in a colorful open air bus. They brought us to the marina where the catamaran is docked. They gave us a tour of the area, served finger food and drinks. When we got to the spot for sunset they stop and serve you champagne. Would recommend!
