ST Thomas Excusion "Atlantis Sub Odyssey"

Boca

We took the Atlantis Submarine excursion while in St. Thomas last year. Although I don't remember it being called Odyssey it is probably the same. You take a boat ride for about 15 minutes out to Buck Island and board the sub from the boat. You then board the sub and sit in rows of seats facing out. There is a huge window in front near the pilot. You then go down about 65-80 feet below the surface of the water for about 40-45 mins or so. It was a great time. We saw turtles, barracuda, sharks, lots of smaller fish, lobster, some shipwreck remnants and lots of coral. My son, 6 at the time, loved it and you get a certificate stating you did it at the end. It was worth the time and money and you can say you have been in an actual submarine. If you want to take pictures, take them out the window opposite to you. They will come out much clearer.
