Which ship hit Pier 90 (NYC) this morning???

I just saw on the Channel 4 news (NBC) and they had a report that a cruise ship hit the pier this morning. They said it was Pier 90 at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. I looked it up and NCL Dawn, NCL Spirit, and Carnival Miracle were there (and they showed a picture of them).

I hope nobody was injured and the damages were minimal.

Here were the ships coming in earlier:

Watching the webcams this morning, the Dawn came in first. That looks like the Dawn at Pier 90.

I haven't yet heard anything about a ship hitting the pier, though.

I was NOT the Dawn. We came in smooth sailing into Pier 92 this morning, no issues. The Miracle was making its turn into a pier when we were leaving the dock around 8:30. It was one or two docks "Down" (toward the tip of Manhattan) when we were leaving, so perhaps it was the Miracle that hit. I do recall saying asking my husband how the hell-o that ship was going to make the turn because it looked so massive. The Dawn came in no issues and I think they are similar in size. There was another NCL ship a bit further down but it had not yet begun its turn. My guess is it was the Miracle.

Looking at the webcam picture the Dawn is at 92, the second ship docking is at 90, all this because the aircraft carrier is docked at 88. It does look like the Spirit is at 88 as well.

"""? This looks Northward. the Dawn is at pier 88, 48th street the Carnival one at 90, 50th street and the Spirit is at 92, 52 nd street ."""

Regardless of which way the photo is facing, the Dawn docked this a.m. at Pier 92.

In the pic, the Dawn is towards the top of the pic, then the Miracle, then the SPirit. We disembarked the Dawn at Pier 92 - promise.

Here's a cool tidbit for ya - this a.m. we had VIP Priority Disembarkation and were told to meet at 7:15 to be escorted off. While we were waiting, they called several passengers flagged with "Blue" tags to a special waiting area nearby. There were about 10 individuals flagged by customs and/or the police. After a few minutes, 8 very heavily uniformed and loaded up official looking people came out of the special waiting area and left the ship. They then began paging one passenger who had been flagged and was not yet accounted for. They paged him several times and finally we were able to disembark. Anca the Concierge told us that no one would be allowed to leave the ship until he was accounted for. We finally left the ship about 7:45, approx 30 mins late.

? This looks Northward. the Dawn is at pier 88, 48th street the Carnival one at 90, 50th street and the Spirit is at 92, 52 nd street .

The larger NCL ship is clearly the most southern, I think The Dawn has always gotten the newer redone pier...

Sid, that is the Spirit at 88 - The Dawn docked earlier at 92. Lock at the picture posted above note GVs on first ship in.

Now, WINS is saying it was a Carnival ship. This is so odd that they don't have the correct name of the ship, but it was Pier 90 and they struck a column. The one thing I heard twice was that there were no injuries, so thank God for that. That is the most important thing.
