Inexpensive Hotels-Seattle Center Area & Luggage Question?

Recommended Posts

Are there any inexpensive hotels in the Seattle Center Area? Motel 6 quality? All the things we want to see and do are in that area, so wanted something within walking distance.

Also, we wanted to go the Aquarium on embarktion day. From my understanding the NCL Spirit should be a pier 66 and the Aquarium is at pier 59. How far is the distance? Could we easily walk from one pier to the another? Where can we place our luggage so we don't have to drag it with us or go back to the hotel to retrieve it? Thanks for the info.

I just got group space for our group at Comfort Suites Seattle Center on recommendation of a couple of people who live in Washington.. Good location, continental breakfast, shuttle to Pioneer Square/PIke Market area (complimentary, about 1 mile) and only $3-4 cab fare to pier. Most of us want to spend time IN Seattle and will just use hotel to sleep and also want to spend money on excurions etc in Alaska and not on expensive hotel in Seattle... we are going June 2-4..

We are going May 21. We also just want the hotel for necessities and not spend alot of money for something fancy. Also want to avoid cabs as much as possible to get around. Still working on how to figure out their bus/mono system.

The concierge sounds great. We won't have too much time to spend in Seattle and being able to drop our bags and walk to the Aquarium will fit our schedule perfect. Do we just pick them up again when we are ready to go to the ship or will they tranfer them to the ship for us?
