Nassau Water Tower

I think this is truly a hidden treasure. Pay the .50 cents and take the elevator to the top and enjoy an amazing view. Walk up the "Queens Staircase" and check out the fort. This is pretty much a free activity and only about a 15 minute walk from the boat.

From the cruise ship walk through the welcome center and turn to your left, once you get on the main street remain walking to your left. You will walk about 3 or 4 blocks and turn right up the hill. There will be signs and you will be be able to look and see the tower. From the main street its about a 3 block walk up the hill. Hope that helps.
