Real Time Review of the GEM

[Family Travel Story]

I am leaving today for NYC with my wife, daughter and mother-in-law for a fun filled 9 nights at sea aboard the NCL Gem. We will be staying in Stamford CT tonight and then driving to the peir in morning. My plan is to post a real time review of our trip along with photos and video as we go. With that said, if there are any requests for specific info on the GEM while I am way, please let me know and I will do my best to post any added information requested.

Thanks for doing this. Boy, you have a lot of cruises "under your belt". We are on the 3/4/13 Gem sailing so will be interesting in your observations.

We are in Milton, just south of town. How did you get to the ship? Drive and park there or? I"m looking at the "limoliner" which is cheaper than the $35/day parking at the pier.

Valentines Day is a nice time to start a cruise!
