Mykonos: posssible to park near town?

We will be in Mykonos next month and want to rent a car. Is there parking near the town? We'd like to check out the town first thing, and then drive to some of the beaches. My main concern is finding parking that is convenient to the town. (DH's main concern is trying to decipher Greek road signs ...)

I was their last week.....Didn't hire a car,but if I did I would walk into town first and see the sights and pick up car on the way back.

Heaps of car hire companies near drop off point from new port....walk left and up small hill.

There seemed to be parking by the windmills
