Single-supplement waiving strategy?

Recommended Posts

Hurtigruten doesn't always charge a single supplement. I did the round trip one year over New Years, and there was no single supplement. I even booked well in advance. It was an incredible experience. They are under new management now, so it will be interesting to see what, if anything, changes in the type of voyages they offer. Be sure to check out the Hurtigruten forum.

That's good info, thanks. This was my first single cruise. Hurtigruten is, it seems, working very hard to expand it's luxury cruise offerings. They have , in my case, three "Expedition Managers" chaperoning many side trips as well as on board lectures on items of interest as the Sami culture, as well as Nordic story-telling.

❤️❤️❤️ Hurtigruten we went on the round trip last year as part of a tour group and there were a couple of solo travelers in the group. I am looking at their other itineraries (Iceland is on my bucket list) and would love to do the round trip again.
