Sailings out of Long Beach? Will Princess passengers be using the new Carnival Terminal?

It is now my understanding that the Diamond

Princess will sail from Long Beach this coming

fall. My question is will Princess passengers

be using the Carnival terminal for embarkation?

If so, that will clear up the mystery for me.

Just trying to figure out if we'll fly into

Long Beach or LAX or if we should just stay at Coast Long Beach Hotel and do the drive/park thing there!

Princess Cruise Atlas indicates fall sailings on Diamond will be from Long Beach, fall sailings on Island will be from Los Angeles (San Pedro). Better check with your travel agent as these could change as time draws nearer. Princess will use the Carnival terminal for its Long Beach sailings.
