St. Maarten Boardwalk

Does anyone know what a couple chairs and an umbrella might cost along the Boardwalk in St. Maarten?

We rented an umbrella and four beach chairs at the beach where the ships dock. I believe it was about $25.

Is there a beach right at the pier area? Or are you talking about over in Phillipsburg?

The Boardwalk is across the harbor in Phillipsburg.

$20 or $25 gets two chairs, umbrella and six beers, sof drinks or water.

Walk down the beach a bit, each guy will have a slightly different rate. We got two chairs, an umbrella and a bucket of ice with 4 beers for $20. They let my boys share a third chair for free :) The first guy wanted $25 for 2 chairs with no beers.

Anything Special to purchase in Philipsburg ,front Street ?

We got chairs and an umbrella for 10$, plus the changing room nearby. Of course it wasnt crowded and there were scattered showers that day, so the price might have been lowered just to get butts in seats.

We paid $30 for 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. We were near the dock for the water taxi across from Hard Rock Cafe. Water Taxi is $7 per person for the day. We love the boardwalk, we go every time we are there. We also rent the jet skis and Hard Rock Cafe will delivery the food to you out on the beach. Not sure if you know but, behind The Boardwalk are the cheaper stores and a McDonalds in case you have a kid that's picky with their food. Have fun!

I will clarify my answer; the beach is a taxi boat ride; about 7 minutes to the beach. You can walk the road; but that will take you 30 minutes.
