New Orleans Hotel with Parking

Hi Everyone! Doing a cruise on Carnival in May out of New Orleans and arriving the day before (in our vehicle). Looking for a decent hotel nearby that has cruise parking and a shuttle to and from the ship. Thanks in advance, Patty :)

I don't know about the shuttle, but we are staying at the Hilton Riverside and then walking to the cruise terminal. While the Hilton does charge for valet parking, I was told that they will reduce the parking rate if you are checking out for a cruise and leaving your car with them.

The ones I have seen up their rate for "free cruise parking" about $20-30 and only provide a shuttle to the cruise not from so you have to cab it back to the hotel, sometimes shuttle is only free for 1 or 2 people with a small $10 change for each additional person (may be an issue if you are a family). The extra rate, fee for the extra passengers, and the cab back make the $9/day parking at the Fulton garage across from the cruise terminal attractive.
