Default Carnival Pride - Pool slide

I heard that the water slide had been removed from the Pride last month and was wondering if the new one had been installed yet? Anyone been on the Pride recently? Thanks!

Just got off yesterday. The slide is gone! BTW, the pool where the slide was is now a adult only pool, no kids allowed.

Default Correction

The Pride slide never ended in a pool, that was part of the problem (not enough room to slow down.) It just ended in a straight section of half-tube, a deck above the aft pool, which has always been adults only. (see my pictures from January at http://ronrythm.com/Carnival_Pride_06_2.html) The slide situation is well sidcussed on the Carnival forum, including http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=349427. Still no definite date on when the new one will be installed, just "summer"
Enjoy
Ron
