Default Transportation from FLL To POM

We are flying into FLL the night before our cruise. Our hotel provides shuttle from FLL to their hotel. My question is the next morning what is the best choice for reasonable transportation from FLL (Actually Plantation,FL) to the POM? I really don't want the hassle of rental car. Any suggestions?

If you read down the board, several are recommended, SAS being the most commonly mentioned.

Not sure if SAS will pick you up at your hotel , which would put you back on the hotel shuttle to FLL to meet SAS there. Check with QLS transportation (www.qualitylimoservice.com ) and Go Airport Shuttle (http://goairportshuttle.com/); both are FLL based shuttle services, often suggested on these boards, with fair prices. The ride to POM takes about 40-45 minutes. Good luck!

Thanks so much. We have used SAS before and they were great. They just don't have a shuttle for hotels outside the immediate FLL airport area. I guess our best choice will be take the hotel shuttle back to the FLL airport and get SAS to pick us up the next morning.

We've used SAS for years, but never again. In Jan, they picked us up over an hour late, the driver could not even find other hotels where passengers were waiting, so we drove around aimlessly looking for the hotels, and they used a 44 passenger bus with a very large trailer behind.

Took forever to drop off at ports, since they had to unload and reload the whole trailer at each stop.

Very unhappy with the service SAS provided.

My family of 6 adults usually books them as a private shuttle...that makes a big difference..Sorry you had a bad experience.

We have used SAS twice in the past with no problems.
The only thing we encountered were fellow passengers NOT being where they said they would be at the set pick up time. Our SAS driver gave them the benefit of driving around waiting and looking for them. So in turn its not always SAS's fault. It was the fellow passengers.
I would DEF use them again.

We are in the exact same situation for our Breeze cruise in June. We have booked a private car with QLS for the five of us. It is only $15 per person, which is what I believe SAS charges for a shared shuttle, so it just made the most sense. I'm not sure if there is a minimum number of passengers required for a private car though.
