New Orleans cruise terminal by foot

We will be staying directly across the street from the Convention Center at Hyatt Place. How do you get to the Carnival Dream by foot? We will be only taking rolling carryon luggage. Can you access the cruise terminal by the Riverwalk Mall?

Yes there is a mall access. via upper level through the food court.

Thanks for the info ..Does that entrance go to Carnival Embarkation pier?

When in the food court area go out the doors to the riverwalk and turn right. Walk to the end and go down the stairs and right into the area for boarding.
