Just on HAL 6 months ago---- fresh water in both pools.

Our HAL cruise and Celebrity cruise were only 12 days apart, it was the Connie that had the salt water pools.

As I mentioned in my ETA - it depends on the ship, right? When I sailed Maasdam (one of the R ships) the aft pool was salt water - I spent every afternoon there. Don't think I went in the Lido pool. And I don't think Maasdam has been refit with the oasis wading pool crap.....In any event, I agree, most if not all are freshwater.

But I like the saltwater pool
