formal evening island escape

hi, can anyone let us know is their a formal evening on the island escape.?. 'colourful coasts 4th dec'. last year when we were on thomson celebration their was a 'formal evening'. according to island cruises brochure their is no 'formal evening', but now with thomsons taking over what should we pack. ie kilt and dress or smart and casual.

Unless you want to no need for any formal wear.

As long as you've got long trousers and a shirt if you go to the Main dining room in the evening.

More room for holiday clothes :D

From what I have read on the reviews since Thomson's have taken over they have not changed the ship since we were aboard last year.

I was on this ship in June 2009 and I never saw anyone in formal attire. Smart casual was the norm.
