formal night on cruise - Dream 11th August Treasures of the Mediterrean

Hi

Does anyone know which evening on this itinery has the formal/captains dinner. Is it the day at sea (day 2) or another day ?

From what I've read on here it's the first day at sea so yes day 2 as you thought :D

We returned from the Dream on 2 June and the Formal night then was the Sunday evening:)

Captains night is sailing day night.

We have been on several Thomson cruises before ( Emerald , Destiny ) both in the Med and the Aegean and couldn't remember when they were .

I do like to get dressed up at least one night and even better if I have had more than 30 minutes to get ready !!!!!

Do you have to have a certain sitting to go to on that evening as before when on the other cruises we have always been on the 8.30 dinner sitting ( if out on excursions then the 6.30 sitting was too soon after coming back to the ship ).

We have usually done the stay and then cruise so this is the first time we will have done the cruise first.

We are staying at Platja D'Or for our second week and I know that there are several people on the roll call doing the same.
