Gap in schedule

Does anyone know what the Grand Princess is doing from May 4-8? There is a gap in the schedule between a 3 day northwest coastal and a cruise to Alaska. It is during a transition and it is either going into dry dock or has a private charter.

I'm pretty sure it's a charter. Someone a few months ago complained (with good reason) about their may trip being canceled due to a charter in the Vancouver area.

Has been discussed to death already. The ship is a full charter from May 1 thru 8 even though some "ship location" sites still mistakenly show the three day May 1 departure as on.

The May 4-8 gap shows up in the Cruise Atlas so it was known about close to a year ago.

The Grand will be docked in Vancouver at that time having some work done, at least according to the Port Metro Vancouver Cruise Schedule.

I was informed (by crew) that The Grand will be in wet dock from May 1 ... (May 8?) before continuing her Alaskan season. Most everyone will be off the ship will new entertainers etc coming on board.

It will be in dry/wetdock 5/1-5/8. Hopefully all of the leaks will be taken care of!!

Will it be at Canada Place or another port?
