Haifa to Masada and Dead Sea

We toured both Masada and the Dead Sea, from Jerusalem, in May of this year.

Israel is not that large of a country and the roads are great.

It will be a rather long day.

Spent about three hours at Masada; ; however, we were in a Tour Group and were able to get on the Tram ahead of the line that was formed.

If we would have to wait in the line, we would have at least a hour wait.

Spent about two hours at the Dead Sea.

Do take your bathing gear !!!!

Both are must see in Israel:)

Just came back from Royal Princess to the Holy Land. We loved the cruise!

We went to Masada and the Dead Sea from Ashdod, and Jerusalem from Haifa. It would be quite a long drive from Haifa to the Dead Sea -- probably three hours each way.

We booked with Avitours at

and had wonderful guides and great service both days. The visit to the Dead Sea was especially good because we went to a beautiful resort hotel and used their spa facilities for the swim.

Have a GREAT cruise!
