Where to go on a motorcycle?

We are renting a Harley, any suggestions for must see places? I've been to Orient & want to go back & I'd love to see the planes. What other suggestions do you all have for us?

Well, many years ago I posted a suggestion about a Harley ride around the island.

It probably needs to be updated a bit, as some traffic patterns have changed, but if it sounds interesting, we can work on updating it.

That is awesome! I'm going to print that and take it with us and use it with the map HD provides as I'm sure if something needs updated, their map should show it? What a great time it should be!!! 49 days, the count down is on!

While seeing the island on a motorcycle is a tempting idea, you do want to be aware of the miserable condition of many of the roads - there are lots of potholes, cracks in the pavement, occasional loose stones, etc. - not to mention some casual drivers whose attitudes mean you have to be ready for sudden stops.

I know this is an old post but looking for info on renting Harley's ....

did you do it?

If so thru the shop directly or island marketing?

How was it?

We plan to do this Dec and was looking for any input from anyone that has done it.
