Amsterdam port to Airport transfers

How far is it from the port to the airport and what charges might we find? Many flights to US leave in AM and wonder if we can get off ship in time to catch.

The price of a cab might be a bit more expensive as I heard. Re train: know you have to put your luggagew into and from the train yourself. During rushhours trains will be very busy. Stay with your luggage at all times,watch all your belongings, pickpockers love trainrides too.

Try to do your checkin for the airline the night before to save time.

We took the train. It was so simple and FAST! (And we both had two pieces of luggage but no problems at all)

we also used the train. From the port you walk uphill over a bridge and a cab to the train station would be a good idea if you don't want to pull luggage. We are in our 60s and were able to do it with a couple stops. Pretend you are just looking at the scenery. The train is very easy to use.

Since cabs will be expensive for this ride, your best choice probably is the shipstransfers.

We have an early flight and need a fast efficient way to transfer. Are there any car services that can carry 4-8 passengers, plus luggage? I would think the ship's transfer would be expensive.

I assume there is one airport and one cruise port? We are sailing Celebrity.

Taxis in general take 4 persons (and not that much luggage) so you need a bigger one.
