Pam Am Pier/ Taxi/ Soda?

Hello.

:) I have been to San Juan a few times. As I recall the Pam Am Pier is just a giant strip of concrete. My first question is can you tell me how much it will be for a cab ride from SJU to the pier (4 adults with 4 pieces of luggage and 4 carryons)? Also, I remember when we disembark there being a giant line of taxis available...is it the same price back? Also, is there a place to buy a six pack of soda to bring on the cruise or can you no longer do that? Thanks in advance for any help!

Let's see if my memory serves me correctly, when we have taken a taxi from the airport to Pan American Pier (for two people mind you) it has been somewhere around $19 to $21 with the luggage. There is a liquor/soda store in the terminal where they do sell soda, I believe about 3 years ago a six pack of Diet Pepsi cost about $3.00 and yes, you can bring in on the ship. Have a wonderful vaca!
