Ostrich Farm and Chobolobo mansion

Has anyone gone to the ostrich farm or Chobolobo Mansion, an original liqueur distillery? We are looking at getting our own taxi to take us to these 2 places. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, do you know how much a taxi would cost to do this? Thanks!!

We've been to Chobolobo. It is an interesting landhouse and is included on many of the Curacao tours. (We stopped here on a ship's bus tour which cost about $40 for 3 hours.)

We took a taxi from the ship (a few years ago) to Santa Rosa-on our own- and it was $40 rt for 3 of us.

In April, we took a taxi from the ship to Fort Nassau-and our driver waited for us for a half hour- and it was $40 rt for 4 of us.

Which ship will you be on? Some of the bus tours, such as Curacao highlights are worth the cost, as you see so much of the island.

Thanks for this information. We are going to be on the Adventure of the Seas on October 26th. We are doing the dune buggy tour with the ship in the morning and were looking at doing this on our own in the afternoon. I read that you can hire a taxi driver for $20-$30 per hour. We are going to have 4 people so this sounds like a good deal and we will only have about 3 hours to see both places.
